Nicky Neo was quick to begin. Air Load was slow to begin. Philo Bale checked off Thumb A Ride approaching the first turn, checking Dr Darkrai. Our Delta Rose and Reatily Shintaro collided on the first turn. Nicky Neo and Lightwood Miss collided on the first turn. Philo Bale, Our Delta Rose and Lightwood Miss collided on the second turn. Dr Darkrai and Lightwood Miss collided on the second turn.
Nicky Neo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound showed signs of cramping, a three day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr Robert Neocleous, the trainer of Nicky Neo, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
