Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms S Abela, the trainer of Sargent, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sargent last raced at Healesville on 29 January, 2018. Ms Abela stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right monkey muscle injury.
Stewards spoke to M Clohesy, the trainer of Wadelock Venus, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Wadelock Venus last raced at Sale on 21 January, 2018. Mr Marshall stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season. Mr Clohesy also declared a new weight of 24.6kg. Wadelock Venus last weighed at 25.6kg at Sale on 21 January, 2018.
Standing Bear was slow to begin.
Mallard and Sargent collided soon after the start. Ha Ha Gotcha and Standing Bear collided soon after the start. Sargent and Rattle Gate collided at the 300m mark. Rattle Gate checked off Sargent at the 250m mark. Standing Bear checked off Ha Ha Gotcha at the 150m mark.
Due to a technical issue with the split camera, the Judges were unable to input the positions in running for this event.
