Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Barry Marshall, the trainer of Unfakeable, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Unfakeable last raced at The Meadows on 14 February, 2018. Mr Marshall stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hip injury.
Shooters Ali was slow to begin.
Sovereighn Series checked off Acer soon after the start. Acer and Octo Flash collided soon after the start. Wok Djay and New Fire Girl collided at the 250m mark. Wok Djay, Acer and New Fire Girl collided at the 200m mark, severely checking New Fire Girl. Wok Djay and Sovereign Series collided several times from the 200m mark to the 150m mark. Fabelite and Octo Flash collided several times at the 150m mark. Sovereign Series and Shooters Ali collided at the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post.
Acer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
A sample was taken from Unfakeable, the winner of the event.
Due to a technical issue with the split camera, the Judges were unable to input the positions in running for this event.
