Steward's Report
Longshot Glory, Tron's Empire, Sleeping Slick and Perfect Hours collided soon after the start. Longshot Glory and Tron's Empire collided at the 250m mark. Longshot Glory and Tiny Octane collided several times from the 200m mark to the 150m mark. Tiny Octane checked off Perfect Hours at the 100m mark. Longshot Glory and Tiny Octane collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Sleeping Slick had lodged in the greyhound's mouth when it reached the catching pen.
Due to a technical issue with the split camera, the Judges were unable to input the positions in running for this event.
MEETING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Burkby, the trainer of Dorothy Dawn, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Dorothy Dawn last raced on 20 September 2017. Mr Burkby stated that the greyhound had changed kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Dorothy Dawn trialled over the 300m from box one, weight 26.1kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 17.36, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of a nose. Dorothy Dawn was cleared.

Mr Russell stated that the greyhound had changed kennels and been seasonal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Miss Walt trialled over the 300m from box four, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 17.36, the greyhound won by a margin of a nose. Miss Walt was cleared.
