Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Dashing Diamond and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 2:44 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Dean Jeffries was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rooey.
Two Toes Tony was slow to begin. Shiro and All About Arby collided on the first turn, checking Rooey, Dr Toretto and Two Toes Tony, and severely checking Special Member. Rooey checked off Two Toes Tony on the second turn, checking Special Member. Special Member checked off Two Toes Tony on the home turn and collided with Amaroo Gonzales. Rooey raced wide on the home turn.
Rooey was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
