Coco Spectre was a late scratching at 10:28 am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards noted the explanation from kennel representative Mr. C. Solkhon.
Crackerjack Daza was quick to begin.
Go Didda Go was slow to begin.
Go Didda Go and Arma Rapida collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Daza and Sharp Missile collided on the first turn. Mutant crossed to the inside entering the back straight checking Crackerjack Daza, Sharp Missile, Jimmy Got Style and True Value, True Value fell as a result. Crackerjack Daza and Sharp Missile collided approaching the second turn.
True Value was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
