Lieu Knee Annie went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Lieu Knee Annie and Tekeela Too collided soon after the start. Aston Veloci and Jaggered Stone collided soon after the start. Bluehawk Robert and Lieu Knee Annie collided approaching the 300m mark. Bluehawk Robert checked off Capo and crossed to the rail approaching the 250m mark. Jaggered Stone and Grey Magic collided approaching the 200m mark. Capo and Aston Veloci collided at the 150m mark and the 100m mark. Grey Magic checked off Jaggered Stone at the 100m mark. Papa Duncs checked off Grey Magic approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Peter Schofield regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Jaggered Stone. Stewards directed that Jaggered Stone be boxed first in future events.
