Steward's Report
Oh So Sleek was a late scratching under Stewards permission at 12:36 pm. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Wayne Vassallo regarding the late scratching of the greyhound. Mr Vassallo stated that Oh So Sleek was fine yesterday prior to scratching time and upon loading the greyhound this morning the greyhound appeared lame in the back left leg. Stewards accepted Mr Vassallo's explanation and took no further action.
All Inn Fergi and Koda Blue were slow to begin. Vukic was very slow to begin (3L). All Inn Fergi and Jar Man collided soon after the start. All Inn Fergi, Ima Rockstar and Pumpernickel collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Ima Rockstar and Jar Man. Pumpernickel and Hey Duggee collided approaching the home turn. Jar Man and Ima Rockstar collided on the home turn.
Vukic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg triangle injury, a three day stand down period was imposed.
