Ebb was quick to begin.  Absolute Breeze and Sneak Preview collided soon after the start, checking Absolute Breeze.  Scarlet Magic, How's It Burning and Sneak Preview collided approaching the first turn.  Scarlet Magic and How's It Burning collided on the first turn, checking How's It Burning, which contacted the running rail and lost ground.  Scarlet Magic and Sneak Preview collided on the home turn.  Absolute Breeze clipped the heels of Scarlet Magic entering the home straight.  

How's It Burning was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sacro-iliac injury and lacerations over left shoulder and hock, a three day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards delayed all clear, after it was noted that there was a plastic bag on the outside of the track on the home turn.  Once Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was affected, Stewards declared all clear on 7 - 4 - 8 - 6.

Poison Pen was quick to begin.  Pepper Shannon and Rave On collided soon after the start, checking Pepper Shannon.  Where's Jamal and Rave On collided approaching the first turn.  Flying Class, Got Some Wheels, Ima Rebel and Rave On collided on the first turn, checking Ima Rebel.  Ima Rebel, Where's Jamal and Pepper Shannon collided approaching the home turn, checking Where's Jamal.  Rave On and Poison Pen collided on the home turn.  Pepper Shannon clipped the heels of Poison Pen in the home straight.  Dyna Worker and Poison Pen collided approaching the winning post.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Zambora Russ and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 1:18 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Michael Ellis was fined the sum of $100.

Mini Diva was quick to begin.  Nellie Shan and All Inn Bluebell were slow to begin.  Magic Euphoria and Luke's Gift collided approaching the first turn, checking Luke's Gift which lost ground.  Mini Diva and Weeona Bonnie collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Luke's Gift was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg triangle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Daniel Pell, the trainer of My Cousin Jim, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  My Cousin Jim last raced on 27 October 2017.  Mr Pell stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a left hip injury. 

Kiss Me Marday was quick to begin.  Enzo, Breakout and Crymelon Idol collided soon after the start, checking Crymelon Idol.  Enzo, Breakout and You Bandit collided approaching the first turn.  Enzo, You Bandit and Kiss Me Marday collided on the first turn, checking Kiss Me Marday.  Kiss Me Marday and Crymelon Idol collided approaching the home turn, checking Crymelon Idol.  You Bandit and Railway Burra collided on the home turn.

Scrumble and No Fluke were slow to begin.  No Fluke clipped the heels of State Of Oasis soon after the start.  State Of Oasis and No Fluke collided approaching the first turn.  No Fluke and Injector collided on the first turn.  No Fluke and Scrumble collided on the home turn.  Kalani Tim and Scrumble collided in the home straight.  State Of Oasis raced wide in the home straight.

Balance and Zipping Chief were slow to begin.  Ray's Wish, Ryder Sir and Dave's Entity collided soon after the start.  Spider Regis, Balance, Wilburn, Dee Dee One and Ray's Wish collided on the first turn, severely checking Ray's Wish, Balance, Zipping Chief and Wilburn; and causing Dee Dee One to fall.  Zipping Chief and Wilburn collided approaching the home turn.  Balance and Zipping Chief collided on the home turn.

Dee Dee One was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left foreleg chest, left and right hindleg thigh, and left hindleg triangle injuries, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Justin Nolan and reminded him of his responsibilities in regards to the displaying of their licence (LRR 16.2).

Dyna Maple was quick to begin.  Alezan, Tiza Fabio and Tiggerlong Nosey collided on the first turn, checking Tiza Fabio.  Alezan and Tiza Fabio collided entering the back straight.  Tiza Fabio and Bobby's Baby collided on the second turn.  Dyna Maple and Tiggerlong Nosey collided approaching the home turn.  Bobby's Baby and Tiza Fabio collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Boehmke, the trainer of Flashing Lights, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Flashing Lights last raced on 13 October 2017.  Mr Boehmke stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a season.

Midnite Starling and Black Shirley were slow to begin.  Aston Amore and Bad Apple collided soon after the start.  Quicksilver Hope and Midnite Starling collided approaching the first turn, checking Quicksilver Hope.  Midnite Starling and Dr Jezabel collided on the first turn.

Oh So Sleek was a late scratching under Stewards permission at 12:36 pm.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Wayne Vassallo regarding the late scratching of the greyhound.  Mr Vassallo stated that Oh So Sleek was fine yesterday prior to scratching time and upon loading the greyhound this morning the greyhound appeared lame in the back left leg.  Stewards accepted Mr Vassallo's explanation and took no further action. 

All Inn Fergi and Koda Blue were slow to begin.  Vukic was very slow to begin (3L).  All Inn Fergi and Jar Man collided soon after the start.  All Inn Fergi, Ima Rockstar and Pumpernickel collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Ima Rockstar and Jar Man.  Pumpernickel and Hey Duggee collided approaching the home turn.  Jar Man and Ima Rockstar collided on the home turn.

Vukic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg triangle injury, a three day stand down period was imposed.
