Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from In Dee Genes.

Buckle Up Todd was slow to begin.  Birkenhead, Really Magic and Tallinn Power collided approaching the first turn checking Really Magic.  Blitzen Bell and Tallinn Power collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Blitzen Bell and Tallinn Power collided approaching the home turn checking Blitzen Bell.

Meeting Comments

Track Curator, Mr. T. Godfrey advised Stewards that the track was medium harrowed on Friday 2nd March 2018. 

Buck The Jockey was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race. 

Supplimentary Report

Stewards held an inquiry with Ms. K. Houlahan after she left the course without the permission of the Stewards following race 7 at Sale on 25 February, 2018.  Ms. Houlahan was found in breach of GAR 42(2) in that she did fail to check the clearance to leave the course form and gain authorisation from the Stewards prior to removing Empress Lu from the kennels. Ms Houlahan pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $100.
