Ms Carter stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennel. Ms Carter also declared a new weight of 32.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Anndar Amoree last raced at 34.2kg.

Spring Kitty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right long head triceps (monkey) and sartorius (pencil) muscles. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana Interest was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Splash Of Blue was quick to begin.

Cullquin Bomber, Kid Carl and Bling Dynasty collided soon after the start. Kid Carl and Bling Dynasty collided at the 150m mark. Rosacky Thunder checked off Splash Of Blue at the 100m mark.

Jet Blaster was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left elbow. A 60-day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Jess Grima, trainer of Splash Of Blue, regarding concerns they had with the greyhound's manners in the catching pen. Mr Grima stated that he will be implementing some changes in an attept to improve the greyhounds behaviour. Stewards advised Mr Grima that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.

Alouette Jack was quick to begin. Tayla's Banjo, Bugs Boloney and Tarree's Ruslie were slow to begin.

Tarree's Ruslie, Speedy Ryder and Tito Mojito collided soon after the start. Alouette Jack faltered at the 250m mark. Bugs Boloney crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Cavalry Rose and Tarree's Ruslie collided at the 150m mark.

Alouette Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right gracilis (back) muscle. A 60-day stand down period was imposed.

Banjo's Affair and White Diamond were slow to begin.

Banjo's Affair crossed to the outside soon after the start. Mousey McCoy and Big Bubbles collided at the 200m mark. Air Load, Big Bubbles and Mousey McCoy collided at the 150m mark.

Pay Day Brian was a late scratching at 7:34AM by order of stewards.

Villy Mac Pizazz and Ruby Gas collided soon after the start. Don's Bobcat and Villy Mac Pizazz collided soon after the start. Hard Knocks faltered at the 250m mark and tailed off as a result.

Stewards spoke to Ms Brooke Berry, the trainer of the greyhound Hard Knocks, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 250m mark. Hard Knocks was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the pelvic area and the right quadriceps muscle, a 14-day stand down period was imposed. Ms Berry declined to have the greyhound revetted.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Hard Knocks with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Hard Knocks was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start time for this race was delayed by two minutes due to Oaklands gallops meeting running 3 minutes and 45 seconds behind schedule.

Mister Brown and My Names Schultz collided approaching the 100m mark. Superior Scotch and Cosmic Nosey collided approaching the 100m mark.

Mr Andrew Dignam, trainer of Raging Inferno, declared a new weight of 37.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Raging Inferno last raced at 35.8kg.

Renegade and Fashion Queen were slow to begin.

Renegade and Tricky Tron collided soon after the start. Roshani's Dream and Renegade collided at the 150m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Andrew Dignam regarding his difficulties in parading his greyhound to the boxes. Mr Dignam advised that he will have someone else to handle the greyhound in the future.
