Steward's Report
Splash Of Blue was quick to begin.
Cullquin Bomber, Kid Carl and Bling Dynasty collided soon after the start. Kid Carl and Bling Dynasty collided at the 150m mark. Rosacky Thunder checked off Splash Of Blue at the 100m mark.
Jet Blaster was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left elbow. A 60-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Jess Grima, trainer of Splash Of Blue, regarding concerns they had with the greyhound's manners in the catching pen. Mr Grima stated that he will be implementing some changes in an attept to improve the greyhounds behaviour. Stewards advised Mr Grima that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.
