The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1.5 minutes while attendants removed an object from the track.
Adriel was quick to begin.
Roger's Boy and Beast were slow to begin.
Go Maxi crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Vitaliser. Roger's Boy and Vitaliser collided at the 300mt mark. Cersei crossed to the inside at the 250mt mark and collided with Red Queen. Beast eased approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Robinson, the trainer of the greyhound Beast regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Beast was vetted and revetted following the event 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left pencil muscle injury A stand down period of 7 days was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Beast with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Robinson pleaded guilty to the charge, Beast was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
