The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1.5 minutes while attendants removed an object from the track.

Roger's Boy and Beast were slow to begin.

Go Maxi crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Vitaliser. Roger's Boy and Vitaliser collided at the 300mt mark. Cersei crossed to the inside at the 250mt mark and collided with Red Queen. Beast eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Robinson, the trainer of the greyhound Beast regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Beast was vetted and revetted following the event 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left pencil muscle injury A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Beast with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Robinson pleaded guilty to the charge, Beast was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Andrews, the representative of Steel Magnetic regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Steel Magnetic last raced on 22nd October 2017. Mr. Andrews stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennels.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bit Fancy.

Oh So Sleek and Dave's Entity were slow to begin.

Aladdin Prince, Steel Magnetic, Double Explosion and Nod Ya Head collided soon after the start. Bit Fancy, Twilight Shae, Aladdin Prince and Steel Magnetic collided at the 275mt mark checking Aladdin Prince. Dave's Entity and Bit Fancy collided approaching the 200mt mark. Oh So Sleek and Bit Fancy collided approaching the 150mt mark checking Steel Magnetic and severely checking Oh So Sleek which contacted the running rail and stumbled as a result. Oh So Sleek was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. M. Filomeno trainer of Undetectable declared a new weight of 39.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Undectable last raced at 37.5kg.

Tekeela Too, Major Gas and Undetectable were slow to begin. Major Gas crossed to the inside soon after the start.

Courage Crest and Are You Ready collided soon after the start. Damoss faltered approaching the 250mt mark and lost ground as a result. Springinator and Checker Plate collided at the 250mt mark. Checker Plate and Courage Crest collided at the 250mt mark. Checker Plate and Courage Crest collided several times from the 150mt mark to the 100mt mark checking both greyhounds.

Damoss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Terry, the trainer of Burn Like Fire regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Burn Like Fire last raced on 4th November 2017. Mr. Terry stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a right monkey muscle injury.

Burn Like Fire and Go Levi collided soon after the start checking Go Levi. Mister Brown and Serious Bolt collided soon after the start checking Serious Bolt. Mister Brown and Serious Bolt collided approaching the 250mt mark checking Mister Brown, Serious Bolt and Uncatchable.

Mr. N. Carthew, trainer of Jacks Rainbow declared a new weight of 37.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jack's Rainbow last raced at 36.0kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Colluding.

Bruree Jewel and Olary collided approaching the 250mt mark. Colluding, Spot My Key and Bruree Jewel collided at the 250mt mark. Jack's Rainbow faltered at the 250mt mark and lost ground as a result.

Jack's Rainbow was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left pencil muscle injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - SplashOf Blue trialled over the 350mt from box 3, weight 32.0kg,the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 19.42 ,the greyhound won by a margin of 10L. Splash Of Blue was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr D Jensen, the representative of Lilrigg regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Lilrigg last raced on 20th August 2017. Mr Jensen stated that the greyhound was returning from a tendon injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Lilrigg trialled over the 350mt from box 1, weight 34.3kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 19.42, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 10L. Lilrigg was cleared.
