Steward's Report
Bell's Borus checked off Smudger Smiff soon after the start. Bell's Borus lost ground from the first turn and tailed off. Slipaway Anna and Rooey collided on the first turn. Slipaway Anna checked off Djays Larry entering the home straight.
Bell's Borus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain to the right wrist. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Norman Wynd regarding the direction that the greyhound Djays Larry be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
A sample was taken from Smudger Smiff, the winner of the event.
