Alfie's Affair, Regal Memphis and Woodleigh Girl were slow to begin.  Final Chimes and Regal Memphis collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Final Chimes and Regal Memphis collided on the first turn.  Alfie's Affair, Destini Exactor and Ebonique collided on the first turn, checking Woodleigh Girl, and severely checking Destini Exactor and Ebonique.  Alfie's Affair raced wide approaching the home turn.  Regal Memphis galloped on Destini Exactor approaching the home turn, checking Destini Exactor, and severely checking Regal Memphis, Final Chimes and Woodleigh Girl; causing Final Chimes to fall and Woodleigh Girl to stumble.  Alfie's Affair raced wide on the home turn.  Copyist and Kimani collided in the home straight, checking Kimani.

Final Chimes was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg back muscle and spike wound injuries, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Regal Memphis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right achilles, a three day stand down period was imposed.

Woodleigh Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left hindleg calf and right hindleg triangle injuries, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Searching was quick to begin.  Why Not Hugh was very slow to begin (3L).  Aladdin Prince and Buckle Up York collided approaching the first turn, checking Buckle Up York.  Buckle Up York and Kouta And Cream collided on the first turn, checking Buckle Up York.  Why Not Hugh galloped on Touch Of Silk on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds; causing Why Not Hugh to race wide.  Hollywood Nights checked off Buckle Up York approaching the home turn.  

Searching was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left medial fibia, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Hollywood Nights was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr John Paterson, the trainer of Hollywood Nights, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Mr John Carr, trainer of Rodeo declared a new weight of 31.3 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Rodeo last raced at 29.6 kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nareen.

Good Odds Ava and Johnny Black were quick to begin.  Riveting was slow to begin.  Nareen, Rodeo and Sparky Neveelk collided approaching the first turn, checking Rodeo.  Give Away King and Nareen collided approaching the first turn, checking Nareen.  Riveting and Give Away King collided on the first turn, checking Give Away King.  Rodeo raced wide on the first turn.  Good Odds Ava and Riveting collided approaching the third turn, checking Good Odds Ava.  Rodeo tailed off in the home straight.

Good Odds Ava was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right hindleg hock and triangle injuries, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Rodeo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left hindleg calf and triangle injuries, and bruising to the right medial elbow, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr John Carr, the trainer of the greyhound Rodeo, who declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.  Stewards deemed the performance of Rodeo unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Rodeo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

He Shall Johnny, Poke The Bear and Immen Bale were slow to begin.  Reckoning and Maurice Minor collided approaching the first turn, checking Reckoning, Maurice Minor and Immen Bale; causing Immen Bale to contact the running rail.  Mossimo Bale, Poke The Bear and Jesaulenko collided on the first turn.  Maurice Minor and He Shall Johnny collided on the first turn, checking He Shall Johnny, and severely checking Maurice Minor which raced wide as a result.  Poke The Bear and Jesaulenko collided several times from approaching the second turn to the back straight, checking both greyhounds.

Tijuana Icon, Trim City and Khaleesi Girl were quick to begin.  In Dees Genes, Ah Sugar Sugar and My Names Schultz collided approaching the first turn, checking In Dee Genes and Ah Sugar Sugar.  In Dee Genes and My Names Schultz collided on the first turn, checking In Dee Genes.  Trim City checked off Khaleesi Girl approaching the home turn.  Tijuana Icon and Khaleesi Girl collided in the home straight.  Khaleesi Girl crossed in approaching the winning post and collided with Tijuana Icon on several occasions.

Khaleesi Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr.T.Cortese, the representative of Khaleesi Girl regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  After taking evidence from Mr. Cortese, acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, the Stewards were of the view that the head-on footage corroborated their opinion that Khaleesi Girl and Tijuana Icon collided several times approaching the winning post.  Stewards took no action in the matter.

A pre-race sample was taken from Tuscan Dream.

Porscha's Girl was quick to begin.  Miss Dozer was slow to begin.  Slick Diamond, Marvellous Midge and Lektra Magic collided approaching the first turn, checking Marvellous Midge and Lektra Magic.  Lektra Magic lost ground on the first turn.  Slick Diamond and Fiesty Ivy collided on the first turn, checking Fiesty Ivy.  Slick Diamond checked off Spazzy Blue approaching the home turn.

Lektra Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr L Harris,the trainer of the greyhound Lektra Magic. Stewards deemed the performance of Lektra Magic to be unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Lektra Magic must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample from Cash Ownley upon arrival at the course had to be aborted due to contamination, a pre-race sample was subsequently taken.

This event was delayed by three and a half minutes, due to a Globe Derby Harness race.

El My Girl was quick to begin.  Platinum Osti and Cash Ownley were slow to begin.  Platinum Osti and Cash Ownley collided soon after the start.  Cash Ownley checked off Platinum Osti on the first turn.
