Pius Thicknesse, Rowchester Miss, Destini Jaguar and Dyna Zeni collided approaching the first turn, checking Destini Jaguar. Mickie Raven checked off Cherokee Thunder on the first turn, checking Pius Thicknesse, Dyna Zeni and Rowchester Miss. Destini Jaguar contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.
