Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Eagle Princess.
Sir Fancy and Will Dazzle were slow to begin. Shogun Sammy, Five Lights and Peter's Pride collided approaching the first turn checking Five Lights and Shogun Sammy and severely checking Gammy's Choice. Bandit Brad contacted the running rail on the first turn and collided with Five Lights as a result. Will Dazzle and Sir Fancy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Shogun Sammy galloped on Bandit Brad on the home turn. Shogun Sammy and Five Lights collided on the home turn causing Gammy's Choice to race wide.
Stewards contacted Mrs. V. Sultana the trainer of Bandit Brad after she left the course prior to having the greyhound vetted. Mrs. Sultana was directed to present Bandit Brad to Warragul tomorrow night for a vet check.
Supplimentary report:-
Mrs. Sultana presented Bandit Brad for a vet check at Warragul (02/01/18) as requested by Stewards. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. At a subsequent inquiry Stewards charged Mrs. Sultana with a breach of GAR 42(2) after she failed to check the clearance to leave course form and gain authorisation from the Stewards prior to removing Bandit Brad from the kennels. Mrs. Sultana pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $100.

Lilty Allen trialled over 395 metres from box 7, weight 29.5kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.92 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5 lengths. Lilty Allen was cleared.
