Steward's Report

Mrs K. Houlahan, trainer of Little Big Shot declared a new weight of 31.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Little Big Shot last raced at 30.1kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hello Bomber.

Blue Magoo was slow to begin.

Urana Banjo, Little Big Shot and Seminole Wind collided soon after the start checking Little Big Shot.  Little Big Shot checked off Hello Bomber approaching the first turn.  Dynamo Jezz, Ratajkowski and Hello Bomber collided approaching the first turn checking Hello Bomber.  Ratajkowski checked off Dynamo Jezz approaching the first turn.  Hello Bomber raced wide on the first turn.  Dynamo Jezz and Blue Magoo collided on the first turn.  Urana Banjo and Seminole Wind collided on the first turn.  Ratajkowski checked off Little Big Shot on the second turn, third turn and approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr T. Collins regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Hello Bomber. Stewards directed that Hello Bomber be boxed first in future events.

Stewards noted that the race rug of number 4 shifted up on the greyhound and the number 4 was not clearly visible throughout the running of the event.
