Stewards spoke to Mr A. Gringhuis, the trainer of Indira's Girl regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Indira's Girl last raced on 31 August 2017. Mr Gringhuis stated that the greyhound was returning from a seasonal spell.

Goorawin and Indira's Girl were quick to begin.
Pistol, Mrs. Jawa and Spot Of Magic collided soon after the start. Burnsy's Sam and Corleone collided soon after the start checking Burnsy's Sam.
