Due to an equipment malfunction, the first split of this event was hand timed.
Gotta Be Better was slow to begin.
Hodge's Lane checked off Sneak Preview soon after the start. Tiger Cabang checked off Supa Pass on the first turn, checking Sneak Preview and Hodge's Lane. Tiger Cabang and Vinaka Oscar collided approaching the home turn. Vinaka Oscar checked off Sneak Preview on the home turn. Select Tim lost ground from the home turn to the winning post.
Select Tim was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
