Steward's Report
Stewards established that Nunniong Miss turned in the boxes. Acting under GAR 52(1) Nunniong Miss was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
Minka's Destiny and Proven Strudel collided approaching the first turn. Minka's Destiny, Kruzin' Cripps and No Permit collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. No Permit clipped the heels of Kruzin' Cripps on the first turn and fell. Minka's Destiny and Winnie collided on the home turn. Winnie checked off Minka's Destiny in the home straight.
No Permit was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadricep muscle and abrasions to the right fore foot. stand down period was imposed.
Stewards were unable to speak to Mr Barry Mills, trainer of Nunniong Miss, which turned in the boxes prior to the event; appropriate follow up with Mr Mills will be undertaken.
A sample was taken from Slippery Sam, the winner of the event.
