This race was delayed by approximately 8 minutes due to the boxes failing to open in the previous event.
Call Me Tickets and It Gets Better were slow to begin. Charly Shu Shine checked off Sir Richard approaching the first turn. Call Me Tickets and It Gets Better collided on the first turn checking It Gets Better. Brandeen Bayley and Why Not Cory collided approaching the home turn checking Why Not Cory. Sir Richard and Brandeen Bayley collided on the home turn. Tuggeragh, Why Not Cory and Crickets Dash collided on the home turn.
It Gets Better was vetted and after being re vetted following event 12, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. L. Hall, the trainer of the greyhound It Gets Better. Stewards deemed the performance of It Gets Better unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that It Gets Better must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
