Why Not Macca was quick to begin.  Short Mack was slow to begin.  Sandreena was very slow to begin (4.5 lengths).  Perrie The Fairy, Aston Lola, Lakeview Jimmy and Sambucca Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Lakeview Jimmy.  Perrie The Fairy, Aston Lola and Sambucca Rose collided on the first turn checking Aston Lola and Perrie The Fairy.  Aston Lola and Short Mack collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Lola.  Madarh checked off Sambucca Rose approaching the home turn.  Perrie The Fairy and Short Mack collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Shadow Diamond checked off Racey Rose soon after the start.  Our Echo Rose and Ninetymile Lenny collided approaching the first turn checking Our Echo Rose, Racey Rose and Soap.  Racey Rose, Soap and Our Echo Rose collided on the first turn checking Our Echo Rose, Shadow Diamond and Zambora Ella.  Racey Rose checked off Sazana entering the home straight.

Princess Shae, Penny Lane Keats, Magic Euphoria, Trey Bit and Liberty Diamond collided soon after the start checking Princess Shae, Penny Lane Keats and Magic Euphoria.  Trey Bit galloped on Edge Of Town on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Edge Of Town and Trey Bit collided approaching the home turn checking Edge Of Town, Trey Bit, Princess Shae and Penny Lane Keats.  Edge Of Town and Trey Bit collided approaching the home turn.  Edge Of Town and Princess Shae collided on the home turn.

Showin' Attitude was quick to begin.  Primrose Diamond was slow to begin.  Giroud and Omega Bonner collided approaching the first turn checking Omega Bonner and severely checking Giroud and Primrose Diamond.  Giroud and Primrose Diamond collided on the first turn checking Giroud.  Mandela Sun and About To Cry collided approaching the home turn.  Mandela Sun marred Showin' Attitude approaching the winning post.

Mandela Sun was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hock.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro, the trainer of the greyhound Mandela Sun regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Mandela Sun with marring.  Mr. Pollutro pleaded not guilty to the charge, Mandela Sun was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Leopardstown and Sir Jay Jay were slow to begin.  Aston Harvey checked off Empress Lu on the first turn.  Bro Sam's Hook and Sir Jay Jay collided entering the home straight.  Destroyer raced wide in the home straight.  Zambora Idol tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Allen Lottery and Shanlyn Frank were slow to begin.  Astrology checked off Zambora Beau on the first turn checking One Cup Short.

The start of this event was delayed by approx 8 minutes due to the boxes failing to open.  All dogs were revetted and all trainers were given the option to scratch their greyhounds

Lonnie Lad, Jake Of Carson and Ace Gone Wild were slow to begin.  Fairy Vixen, Lonnie Lad, Jake Of Carson and Milla Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Fairy Vixen and Lonnie Lad.  Fairy Vixen checked off Milla Rose on the first turn.  Jake Of Carson,Milla Rose and Ace Gone Wild collided approaching the home turn checking Milla Rose and Ace Gone Wild.

Following the event Starter,  Mr. G. Brown advised the Steward at the boxes that he believed that the box lids were slow to open.  Prior to giving the all clear the video footage of the race was examined and it was established that the boxes opened correctly and the all clear was given.  Representative of a greyhound engaged in the event S. Chignell approached Stewards and reported an incident that occurred following the event.  As a result of this Stewards spoke to Mrs. C. Abela, Starter Mr. G. Brown and the Steward at the boxes Mr. R. Petterson.  Stewards will make further enquiries in due course with all other handlers in the race as all had left the course prior to the inquiry.

Following the event Stewards established that the greyhound Maximum Babe stayed in the boxes. 

Maximum Babe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. C. Abela the representative of the greyhound Maximum Babe.  Stewards deemed that the greyhound Maximum Babe took no competitive part in the event. Under normal circumstances the greyhound would be charged with failing to chase.  However, taking into consideration the false start Stewards believe that the charge of an unsatisfactory performance was appropriate and the greyhound will have to undergo a Satisfactory Trial.

It Gets Better was vetted and after being re vetted following event 12, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. L. Hall, the trainer of the greyhound It Gets Better.  Stewards deemed the performance of It Gets Better unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71,  Stewards directed that It Gets Better must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Wadelock Mindy was quick to begin.  Rodeo, Buzz Rash and Chase On Case were slow to begin.  Belisarius, Teggernaut, Buzz Rash and Rodeo collided on the first turn checking Teggernaut and severely checking Belisarius.  Rodeo checked off Chase On Case on the second turn.

Just Like Didda and Miss Holland were slow to begin.  Lakeview Maisey and Starlight Lucy collided approaching the first turn.  Lakeview Maisey, Starlight Lucy and Miss Holland collided on the first turn checking Lakeview Maisey and severely checking Starlight Lucy.  Lakeview Maisey and Wadelock Venus collided in the back straight checking Lakeview Maisey.  Lakeview Maisey raced wide on the home turn.

Phillip Keeping was quick to begin.  Lani Bale was slow to begin.  Legal, Lektra Flame and Teflon Toby collided on the first turn checking Legal, Lektra Flame and Roaring Rampage.  Teflon Toby and Phillip Keeping collided approaching the home turn.

Usain Gilbert and Trianna collided soon after the start checking Usain Gilbert.  Mac and Conclusive collided soon after the start checking Mac.  Blue Not Black crossed in on the first turn checking Tumble And Dry.  Mac galloped on Tumble And Dry on the first turn checking  Mac.  Conclusive galloped on Trianna on the first turn checking Usain Gilbert and Conclusive severely checking Trianna. Mint Burst clipp0ed the heels of Blue Not Black on the first turn checking Blue Not Black Blue Not Black crossed to the outside entering the home straight checking Patchie Thief.  Blue Not Black raced erractically in the home straight and collided with Tumble And Dry.

Blue Not Black was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind toes.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Blue Not Black regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn and again entering the home straight.  After viewing the race footage and taking into account the interference the greyhound suffered on the first turn,  Stewards issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners at this point.   In relation to the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight, Stewards took no further action.
