Steward's Report
This race was momentarily delayed after the muzzle of Here's Tiger became displaced when the greyhound was being boxed, resulting in the muzzle having to be re-adjusted.
Stewards spoke to Mr G Johnson, the trainer of Blue Deception, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Blue Deception last raced at Healesville on 7 May, 2017. Mr Johnson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spelling period.
A pre-race was taken from Double The Magic.
Here's Tiger, Double The Magic and Blue Deception collided soon after the start. Blue Deception checked off Double The Magic at the 250mtr mark. Longshot Glory and Nick collided apporoaching the 200mtr mark checking Nick. Nick, Blue Deception and Grey Grouse collided approaching the 150mtr mark. Gypsy Marlow and Here's Tiger collided approaching the 150mtr mark. Longshot Glory crossed out at the 100mtr mark checking Here's Tiger, Grey Grouse, Gypsy Marlow and severely checking Nick. Grey Grouse crossed to the rail approaching the 50mtr mark and collided with Here's Tiger.
