Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr R Anchen, the trainer of What Stopping Ya, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. What Stopping Ya last raced at Bendigo on 15 July, 2017. Mr Anchen stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spelling period.
Stewards spoke to Mr R Busuttil, the trainer of Mizuki, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mizuki last raced at Taralgon on 30 June, 2017. Mr Busuttil stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following recuperation of a right achilles tendon injury.
Mr T Salpigtis was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card and weight card were produced for Perfect Rider (GAR 33).
Boo Star, Lido's Boy and Whats Stopping Ya collided soon after the start. Lido's Boy and Rare Scents collided approaching the 150mtr mark. Lido's Boy crossed out at the 100mtr mark checking Mizuki and Perfect Rider.
