Maestro Destini was quick to begin. Cosmic Kilby and Berridale Buddie were slow to begin. Cosmic Kilby, Berridale Buddie and No Permit collided soon after the start. Arizona, Crackerjack Roy, No Permit and Emio Bale collided on the first turn, checking No Permit and Arizona. Maestro Destini and So Funny collided on the first turn. Maestro Destini faltered approaching the second turn and subsequently pulled up. No Permit and Emio Bale collided approaching the winning post. 

Maestro Destini was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a partial tear to the right back muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

MEETING COMMENTS:

Trainer, Mr John Galea presented Sisco Yes for a re-vetting after incurring a 21 day stand down period from the Shepparton race-meeting held on 30 October 2017. At the time of this examination, Sisco Yes was deemed fit to race. As such the previously imposed incapacitation period was lifted and expired immediately. A urine sample was taken for further analysis. 

Satisfactory Trial Results-

Mahaya trialled over the 525m from box 1, weight 28.0kgs , the greyhound was placed 5th in a field 5. The time of the trial was 30.82, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 33L. Mahaya was not cleared. Mahaya was vetted following the trial. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle tear, a right shoulder injury and soreness to the right sartorius muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Milly's Choice trialled over the 525m from box 4, weight 28.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 30.82, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 3.25L. Milly's Choice was cleared.
