Split Chic was quick to begin.
Winnie, Binky Bale and Seven Two were slow to begin.
Chinese Whisper, Spotted Gunn, Binky Bale and Seven Two collided on the first turn checking Spotted Gunn and Binky Bale. Winnie faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground and failed to finish. Chinese Whisper and Binky Bale collided approaching the second turn. Chinese Whisper checked off Split Chic approaching the home turn.
Winnie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.
