Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Very Choosy.
John John Lava was slow to begin. Lakeview Maisey galloped on the heels of Gateway To Eden on the first turn checking Destroyer. Lakeview Maisey and Destroyer collided on the first turn. Lakeview Maisey crossed to the outside on the second turn checking Very Choosy, severely checking Destroyer. Lakeview Maisey raced wide approachng the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Lakeview Maisey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle, both saddle muscles and left triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
