Benali and Rippin' Sam were slow to begin.  High Tenacity and Wise Ricciardo collided approaching the first turn.  Benali crossed to the outside approaching the first turn and collided with It's A Kiss as a result.  Benali and Air Load collided on the first turn.  Rippin' Sam and It's A Kiss collided on the first turn.  Air Load checked off Benali on the second turn.  High Tenacity checked off Lhotse entering the back straight and again on the third turn checking High Tenacity and Rippin' Sam, severely checking Wise Ricciardo and Air Load.  Lhotse checked off Pancake approaching the home turn.

Mepunga Debbie and Quick Finance were slow to begin.  Revved Up Dee and Jemma's Fantasy collided on the first turn.  Mepunga Debbie and Quick Finance collided on the first turn.  Bella's Ghost checked off Alpha Themis approaching the second turn checking Diamond Ruby.  Revved Up Dee and Jemma's Fantasy collided on the second turn checking Quick Finance.  Diamond Ruby checked off Revved Up Dee in the back straight.  Jemma's Fantasy, Quick Finance and Mepunga Debbie collided on the third turn.

Lakeview Maisey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle, both saddle muscles and left triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Data Star, Neo Cleo and Beanbag were slow to begin.  Beanbag and Dyna Neitz collided on the first turn.  Hecton Bale and Zipping Maisy collided on the second turn checking Zipping Maisy.  Shanlyn Percy and Mossimo Bale collided entering the home stright.  Neo Cleo checked off Shanlyn Percy approaching the winning post.

Osakalaka was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr D. Chapman, Representing Trainer, Mrs J. Sharp, regarding the manner in which the greyhound raced approaching the home turn.  After taking evidence from Mr Chapman and viewing the official video film, the Stewards issued a warning to Osakalaka regarding the manner the greyhound raced approaching the home turn.

Leprechaun Storm was quick to begin.  Zipping Bronze and Sound Advice collided soon after the start checking Sound Advice.  Tiggerlong Cruz checked off Effective Comet approaching the first turn.  Zara's Entity and He's Loaded collided on the first turn checking He's Loaded, Zipping Inglis, Sound Advice and Zipping Bronze.  Zipping Bronze and Sound Advice collided on the home turn.
