Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Duty Free.
Oshkosh Yobbo and Immen Bale were slow to begin. Miss Innings crossed to the inside soon after the start. Poke The Bear and Oshkosh Yobbo collided soon after the start. Poke The Bear, Limburg Dan and Immen Bale collided on the first turn checking Poke The Bear and Immen Bale. Duty Free checked off Oshkosh Yobbo on the second turn checking Duty Free. Unite Bale, Miss Innings and Osakalaka collided on the home turn. Osakalaka crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Miss Innings and Unite Bale. Limburg Dan checked off Duty Free entering the home straight.
Osakalaka was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr D. Chapman, Representing Trainer, Mrs J. Sharp, regarding the manner in which the greyhound raced approaching the home turn. After taking evidence from Mr Chapman and viewing the official video film, the Stewards issued a warning to Osakalaka regarding the manner the greyhound raced approaching the home turn.
