Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms Ashlee Terry, the trainer of Short Blond Hair, regarding the circumstances surrounding the scratching of the greyhound. Stewards directed that the greyhound must undergo a veterinary examination GAR23(3), and provide the resulting certificate within 24 hours.
Crackerjack Kack and Lady Bullseye were quick to begin.
Amigo One and Alberto collided soon after the start. Amigo One, Alberto and Lady Bullseye collided on the first turn. Crackerjack Kack crossed to the outside on the first turn, checking Benali. Alberto and Kalahari Sands collided in the home straight.
Samples were taken from Despacito (winner) and Benali (second place-getter).
Suplimentry Report:
Trainer Ms Ashlee Terry complied with Stewards request, and provided veterinary reports stating Short Blond Hair was not fit to complete in this event.
