No Permit was slow to begin.
Here's The Trump crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with Latifi Zeus, Arizona and Rozehill Beth, checking Rozehill Beth. Arizona and Latifi Zeus collided on the first turn. No Permit and Mahlo Blackhawk collided on the third turn.
Latifi Zeus lost ground entering the home straight and tailed off.
Latifi Zeus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained dehydration and exhaustion. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr James Arthur, the trainer of the greyhound Latifi Zeus. Stewards deemed the performance of Latifi Zeus unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, directed that Latifi Zeus must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
