Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Donohue, the trainer of Jaimandy Dean regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Jaimandy Dean last raced on 8th July, 2017. Mr. Donohue stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an injured right back tendon.
Alabama Lane was slow to begin. Sugar Bear stumbled soon after the start. Compsognathus checked off Jaimandy Dean on the first turn. Jaimandy Dean, Compsognathus and Don Quixote collided on the home turn checking Compsognathus. Alabama Lane, Brian's Last and Raven Joe collided entering the home straight.
Sugar Bear was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
