Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to D. Warburton, the trainer of Chillby regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Chillby last raced on 29 July 2017 and is returning after a left monkey muscle injury. Mr. Warburton also declared a new weight of 31.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Chillby last raced at 30.3kg.
Due to a technical malfunction, the first split of the event was not recorded. The first split was hand timed at 6.42.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tat Loxy.
Daintree Prinz was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Vintage Queen and Chillby collided soon after the start. Tat Loxy, Chillby and Daintree Prinz collided approaching the first turn checking Chillby, severely checking Tat Loxy. Vintage Queen, Lorella and Daintree Prinz collided on the first turn. Panda Rebel raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Lorella and Heroic Outlaw raced wide in the home straight.
