Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to J. Wilson, the trainer of Swiftly Swift regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Swiftly Swift last raced on 11 June 2017 and is returning after a spell. Mr. Wilson also declared a new weight of 34.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Swiftly Swift last raced at 33.0kg.
Senorita Pepe was quick to begin. Freddy Perfect, All Inn Emma and Stoppa Bus collided approaching the first turn. All Inn Johnson checked off All Inn Emma approaching the first turn. Swiftly Swift galloped on the heels of Senorita Pepe on the first turn checking Senorita Pepe, Swiftly Swift lost ground as a result. Stoppa Bus and All inn Emma collided on the first turn. All Inn Johnson and All Inn Piper collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Swiftly Swift raced wide entering the home straight.
