This meeting was deemed hot weather affected.  In accordance with the hot weather pollcy the kennel temperatures were recorded prior to the first 4 events.  The outside temperature was then below 32 degrees.

Bronelly Jet was slow to begin.  Water Colour and Paisley collided soon after the start causing Water Colour to stumble and fall.  Cosmo Lass, Mahi Indian, Aston Abbott and Weeona Garf collided soon after the start.  Paisley, Cosmo Lass and Mahi Indian collided approaching the first turn checking Cosmo Lass and Mahi Indian.  Paisley was checked off Aston Abbott approaching the home turn.

Water Colour was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Lightning Crash was slow to begin.  Dr. Jezabel and Ash's Waddle collided soon after the start.  Spokane Flick, Blusain Bolt, Lightning Crash and Bluehawk Robert collided approaching the first turn checking Spokane Flick and Blusain Bolt and severely checking Bluehawk Robert.  Blusain Bolt raced wide approaching the home turn.

Bluehawk Robert was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abraided stopper pad on the left leg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to the Parade Steward not reading the scratching sheet Stewards issued him with.  Stewards reminded him of his responsibilities in relation to adhering to the scratching sheet and his requirement to have the greyhounds at the start 1 minute prior to starting time.  This matter was reported to the appropriate Manager.

Miss Fab and Scrappy Doo were slow to begin.  Dr. Paulina was checked off Daicos soon after the start.  Macauliff and Daicos collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Scrappy Doo was checked off Daicos approaching the home turn.  Mikado Boy and Macauliff raced wide in the home straight.

Whitney Showgirl was slow to begin.  Miss Hanna Berry and Dr. Summer collided soon after the start.  Scrumble and Boom Flash collided approaching the first turn. Boom Flash galloped on Dr. Summer on the first turn checking Boom Flash, Miss Hanna Berry and Kelly's Star and severely checking Dr. Summer.  Miss Hanna Berry and Kelly's Star raced wide in the home straight.

Dr. Summer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Aston Upton and Josie Rumble collided soon after the start checking Aston Upton.  Aston Bolt was checked off Josie Rumble approaching the first turn checking Aston Bolt.  Tanoan Creek, Iona Express and Joe's Dolly collided on the first turn.  Aston Bolt and Aston Upton collided entering the home straight.

Santana and Light The Track were slow to begin.  Pee Dee faltered on the first turn causing Light The Track to clip the heels of Pee Dee, Pee Dee subsequently pulled up.  Santana lost ground on the second turn. Don't Trust galloped on Kate's Intention in the back straight checking Kate's Intention.  Santana raced wide in the back straight and the home straight.

Pee Dee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Kate's Intention was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Santana was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent. Trainer Mr. G. Tatti declined his option to have his greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Tatti the trainer of the greyhound Santana.  Stewards deemed the performance of Santana unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Santana must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Joraddi.

Ends Well and Aged Badly were slow to begin.  Another Shiner went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Joraddi and My Miss Molly collided on the first turn.

Special Member was a late scratching at 8.41am due to the greyhound competing in a satisfactory trial at Traralgon on 13/11/17. No stand down period was imposed.

Red Rocks and He Shall Johnny were slow to begin.  Wadelock Sampson and Trixta Rox collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Dr. Yanma which raced wide.  Wadelock Sampson and Trixta Rox collided entering the home straight.  Red Rocks was checked off In A Spin in the home straight.  Red Rocks and In A Spin collided approaching the winning post.  Wadelock Sampson and Dr. Yanmar collided approaching the winning post.

Vienna Gypsy was a late scratching at 1.05pm due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mignon was quick to begin.  Call Me Waylan and Miss Legality collided on the first turn.  Call Me Waylan raced wide in the home straight.

Snip Snap was a late scratching at 5.15pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Nicole was a late scratching at 12.30pm due to the hot weather.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fleur De Rose was quick to begin.  Go Go Guru was slow to begin.  Fleur De Rose and Miss Moggy collided on the first turn.  Fleur De Rose was checked off Miss Moggy on the home turn.

Sir Roderick, Early Thunder and Merinda Hannah were slow to begin.  Cool Boots, Early Thunder and Merinda Hannah collided on the first turn checking Cool Boots, Early Thunder and Orange Blossom cauisng Orange Blossom to lose ground as a result.  Daisy Patch was checked off Early Thunder approaching the home turn.  Merinda Hannah galloped on Etiquette approaching the home turn.
