Marodo and Relethor Bale were slow to begin. Quen Bale, Emeritus and Roller Bale collided approaching the first turn. Roller Bale and Marodo collided on the first turn, checking Roller Bale and Relethor Bale, and severely checking Marodo which fell. Relethor Bale and Roller Bale collided on the home turn.
Marodo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg hip injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
