Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mepunga Blazer.
Timtams For Bam was quick to begin.
Gregorovitch crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Data Star, Zipping Angus and Limburg Dan. Data Star checked off Gregorovitch on the first turn. Zipping Angus checked off Limburg Dan approaching the second turn severely checking Coolan King and Zipping Angus. Data Star galloped on Gregorovitch entering the back straight. Data Star and Gregorovitch collided several times in the home straight.
Gregorovitch was vetted following the event. It was reported the greyhound sustained left and right saddle soreness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mrs L. Cockerell, the representative of Gregorovitch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Exhibition Trial: - Vicki Keeping trialled over the 715mtrs from box 3, weight 27.7kgs. The time of the trial was 1st split (6.44), 2nd split (16.40), 3rd split (31.36) and overall time was (42.546).
