Steward's Report
Cruisy's Rose, Secret Lane and Manitoba were slow to begin. Aeroplane Tippa and Poke The Bear collided soon after the start. Cruisy's Rose and Secret Lane collided soon after the start checking Cruisy's Rose. Blackberry Nip and Helicopter Harry collided approaching the first turn. Blackberry Nip, Helicopter Harry and Poke The Bear collided on the first turn checking Helicopter Harry and Aeroplane Tippa. Secret Lane checked off Blackberry Nip approaching the second turn and collided with Helicopter Harry, Aeroplane Tippa and Cruisy's Rose, severely checking Secret Lane which fell as a result. Blackberry Nip and Manitoba collided entering the back straight.
Secret Lane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated right elbow, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
