A pre-race sample was taken from Royal Intention.
Allen Kelvin was slow to begin. Night Theory and Dyna Greg collided soon after the start. Night Theory and Sudden Burst collided on the first turn. Zipping Henry galloped on the heels of Dyna Greg on the first turn. Dyna Greg crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Zipping Henry, severely checking Alpha Nyx and Ha Ha Gotcha. Night Theory and Sudden Burst collided on the second turn and again approaching the third turn.
Alpha Nyx was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both calf muscles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Ha Ha Gotcha was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
