My Fernando Tim was a late scratching at 4.18pm due to illness (GAR 23).  A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Alouette Josie was a late scratching at 11:27am due to illness (GAR 23).  A seven-day stand down period was imposed.

Divino and Eve Evie were slow to begin.

Cheeky Cindy and Tip Toe collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Tip Toe. Slick Assassian and Miller's Court collided approaching the 150m mark and again at the 150m mark, checking both greyhounds.

Miss Barbados was quick to begin.

Stroke Of Genius and Irish Connection collided soon after the start, checking Stroke Of Genius and Wolfbane McCabe, and severely checking Irish Connection which fell as a result. Tobias Kelton crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark. My Wrecker and We Froff Dat collided approaching the 50m mark.

Irish Connection was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.

Inter Elesha was quick to begin. Explosive Sky was slow to begin.

Jetmag Storm and Broadcast Ted collided soon after the start. Sorry Maurie and Mea Rose collided soon after the start. Desperado Boy and Jetmag Storm collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark.

Kilty's Tiger was slow to begin.

Lektra Danger and Arrow Allen collided soon after the start. Gabonia checked off Arrow Allen at the 300m mark. Lido's Boy and Tat Minnie collided at the 250m mark. Donkey Tron and Gabonia collided at the 250m mark. Bird Special and Donkey Tron collided several times from the 150m to the 100m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Angelo Zampichella, trainer of Donkey Tron, regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 100m mark. No further action was taken.

The start time for this race was delayed by approximatley one minute to allow time for ducks to be removed from the race track.

Two Seasons and Zulu Zoe collided soon after the start. Two Seasons and Hector Cabang collided at the 300m mark and again at the 275m mark.

Rapid Rock was quick to begin. Crackerjack Dave, Provision and Bubsy John were slow to begin.

Provision and Patty's Prince collided approaching the 200m mark and again approaching the 150m mark.

Still Just Under was slow to begin and stumbled at box rise.

Dodge Ball was vetted and revetted following the final event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Dale Batten, the trainer of the greyhound Dodge Ball, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Dodge Ball with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Batten pleaded not guilty to the charge, Dodge Ball was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Superior Swagger and Runaround Susan were slow to begin.

Troy Boyce and Star's Big Boy collided soon after the start. Gotta Rush, Troy Boyce, Black Albert and Superior Swagger collided at the 250m mark. Star's Big Boy and Dontron collided at the 200m mark. Dontron checked off Runaround Susan at the 150m mark. Troy Boyce and Star's Big Boy collided at the 150m mark.
