Tamile Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr D.Fisher, the trainer of Lektra Roy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lektra Roy last raced on 16 April, 2017. Mr Fisher stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after grading issues and a spell.
