Kid Ringo was quick to begin.
My Cousin Jim and Scarlet Blu Boy were slow to begin. Adorable Lady checked off Meehan Barney soon after the start. Meehan Barney checked off Silver Trident approaching the first turn. Why Not Kylie crossed to the inside on the first turn checking Why Not Kylie, Silver Trident and Scarlet Blu Boy. Adroable Lady checked off Meehan Barney on the second turn.My Cousin Jim tired over the concluded stages of the event.
A sample was taken from Kid Ringo, winner of the event.
After the running of this event, Mr. J. Borg representing trainer Mr. G. Borg, reported that his runner Adorable Lady running from box 4 had been disadvantaged at the start due to pooled water in his starting box. Stewards spoke to the Starter and the starting box Steward and referred the matter to the Club Manager with a view to preventing similar issues in the future. The Stewards took no further action.
