After the running of this event, Mr. J. Borg representing trainer Mr. G. Borg, reported that his runner Adorable Lady running from box 4 had been disadvantaged at the start due to pooled water in his starting box. Stewards spoke to the Starter and the starting box Steward and referred the matter to the Club Manager with a view to preventing similar issues in the future. The Stewards took no further action.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Minnesota it was found to have an elevated temperature. A stand down of 7 days was imposed. The greyhound was a late scratching at 2:40pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
