Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Destini Echo.
Flying Vulcan and Annie Bell were slow to begin. Mepunga Giant, Destini Echo and Why Not Archie collided soon after the start checking Destini Echo and Annie Bell. Radish checked off Why Not Archie soon after the start. Just Crystal and Radish collided approaching the first turn checking Just Crystal. Annie Bell galloped on the heels of Just Crystal on the first turn checking Annie Bell and severely checking Just Crystal.
Just Crystal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind leg, a 14 day stand down penalty was imposed.
A sample was taken from Mepunga Giant the winner of the event.
