Just Crystal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind leg, a 14 day stand down penalty was imposed.

Atomic Twist and Church Parade were slow to begin. Destini Trucker and Atomic Kitten collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Nath and Liscoyle Lass collided soon after the start. Atomic Twist checked off Destini Trucker approaching the first turn, contacted the rail and lost considerable ground. Destini Trucker and Atomic Kitten collided on the first turn. Atomic Kitten raced wide on the home turn. Destini Trucker and Church Parade collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Panetta trainer of DestinI Trucker, regarding the greyhound performing below market expectation. Ms. Panetta stated that she was disappointed with Destini Truckers performance in tonight's event and felt, in her opinion, that at this stage of its preparation the greyhound would be best suited over a shorter distance. Stewards noted Ms. Panetta's comments and took no further action. Destini Trucker was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr M Tabb, trainer of Captain Marvel declared a new weight of 35.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Captain Marvel last raced at 34.5kg.

A pre race sample was taken from Verev.

Why Not Dean and Verev were quick to begin. Zoom Out was slow to begin. Zoom Out, Why Not Dean, Verev and Not Onya Own collided approaching the first turn checking Verev, Not Onya Own and Why Not Dean and severely checking Lektra Spark.

Lektra Spark was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the tail, no stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Zoom Out the winner of the event.

Mr J Maple, trainer of Quick Session declared a new weight of 34.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Quick Session last raced at 32.9kg.

Quick Session was very slow to begin - six lenghts. Love To Dream and Hail A Cab collided approaching the first turn. True Talent and Quick Session collided on the home turn checking Quick Session. Go Didda Go and Hail A Cab collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Avatar Octane was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Foxzami Storm, Canya Ayden and Mr. Moonlight collided approaching the first turn. Mr. Moonlight and Got One Back collided on the first turn. Mac crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Aston Frankel, Mr. Moonlight and Got One Back. Mr. Moonlight and Got One Back collided approaching the home turn. Foxzami Storm checked off Canya Ayden approaching the home turn. Foxzami Storm and Got One Back raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms A Panetta, the handler of King Fipa regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  King Fipa last raced on 13/4/2017. Ms Panetta stated that King Fipa is returning to racing from a right hock injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr T Boehmke, the trainer of Storm The Sorrow regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Storm The Sorrow last raced on 27/1/2017. Mr Boehmke stated that Storm The Sorrow  is returning to racing following a change of kennel and being on season. Mr Boehmke declared a new weight of 28.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Storm The Sorrow last raced at 26.9kg.

Mr G Dailey, handler of Dyna Kungpow declared a new weight of 33.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dyna Kungpow last raced at 31.5kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Boehm, the trainer of Trademark Style regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Trademark Style last raced on 22/2/2017. Mr Boehm stated that Trademark Style is returning to racing following a change of kennel.

Trademark Style and Five Mississippi were slow to begin. La Reina checked off Scott Cosmic approaching the first turn. Quaker Bale checked off Trademark Style approaching the first turn. Scott Cosmic checked off Suspicious Lee on the first turn. Scott Cosmic galloped on the heels of Suspicious Lee checking both greyhounds and causing La Reina to race wide. Quaker Bale and Five Mississippi collided approaching the home turn. Scott Cosmic checked off La Reina in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr G Febey trainer regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Scott Cosmic. Stewards directed that Scott Cosmic be boxed first in future events.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr N Jenner, the trainer of Maximum Effect regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Maximum Effect last raced on 2/6/2016. Mr Jenner stated that the greyhound was resuming from soreness to both hocks and a change of kennels.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Maximum Effect trialled over the 390m from box 2, weight 34kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.99, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 6.25L. Maximum Effect was Cleared.
