Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr T Boehmke, the trainer of Storm The Sorrow regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Storm The Sorrow last raced on 27/1/2017. Mr Boehmke stated that Storm The Sorrow is returning to racing following a change of kennel and being on season. Mr Boehmke declared a new weight of 28.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Storm The Sorrow last raced at 26.9kg.
Mr G Dailey, handler of Dyna Kungpow declared a new weight of 33.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dyna Kungpow last raced at 31.5kg.
A pre race sample was taken from Dyna Kungpow.
Storm The Sorrow was slow to begin. Dyna Kungpow and Crooked Vulture collided soon after the start. Crooked Vulture checked off Jameka Gold approaching the first turn.
