A pre race sample was taken from Latifi Nick Nack upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre race sample was taken from Tarsier upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre race sample was taken from Allen Zero.
Tarsier, Tiger Ty Vic and Vane Power were slow to begin. Latifi Nick Nack, Allen Zero and Cosmic Don collided approaching the first turn checking Allen Zero and Cosmic Don. Tiger Ty Vic and Vane Power collided on the first turn severely checking Tiger Ty Vic which fell as a result. Tarsier and Cosmic Don collided approaching the home turn. Tarsier checked off Strength To Wyn in the home straight. Allen Zero checked off Cosmic Don approaching the winning post.
Tiger Ty Vic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left radius/ulna and was humanely euthanased.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. McCann, the trainer regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Jetmag Storm. Stewards directed that Jetmag Storm be boxed first in future events.
