Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from She's Exciting upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre race sample was taken from Gone Early.
She's Exciting and Thor's Crest were slow to begin. Thor's Crest and Gone Early collided soon after the start checking Thor's Crest. Kilty's Tiger and She's Got Dash collided approaching the first turn checking Kilty's Tiger. Emily Skye checked off Emperor Cruz approaching the first turn checking She's Got Dash and Gone Early. She's Exciting crossed our entering the home straight and checked off She's Got Dash. She's Exciting raced wide in the home straight.
Thor's Crest was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustaind a left back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results GAR (77A ) - Stewards spoke to Mrs. Pirani, the trainer of Gardsman regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Gardsman last raced on 30th November 2016. Mrs. Pirani stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injured back muscle. Gardsman trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 31.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.92, the greyhound won by a margin of 6.75 lengths. Gardsman was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Johnson the trainer of Kimmy Bale regarding tjhe length of time since the greyhound last raced. Kimmy Bale last raced on 14th September, 2016. Mr. Johnson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennels and a spell. Kimmy Bale trialled over the 400m from box 2, weight 30.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.92, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.75 lengths. Kimmy Bale was Cleared.
